BDE: Reb Betzalel Kinn, OBM

With great sadness we report the passing of Reb Betzalel (Stanley) Kinn OBM, a mmber of the Chabad community of Manchester, UK who passed away over Shabbos.

Rabbi Betzalel Kinn was a teacher from the mid-1950s until 1977. He also ran a Chabad center in Thanet, England, from 1964 until 1974.

He was interviewed by JEM’s My Encounter with the Rebbe project in his home in Manchester, England, in March of 2015, and had a story published in the Here’s My Story editorial in 2017.

He is survived by his wife Mrs. R Kinn, and sons Reb Shlomie Kinn (Manchester, UK) Reb Boruch Kinn (Manchester, UK) Rabbi Moshe Kinn (Manchester, UK) and Reb Yossi Kinn (Las Vegas, NV)

The Levayoh took place today (Sunday) in Manchester.

Shiva will take place at 20 Wilton Road, Prestwich, Manchester, M7 0HD. Davening times to be announced.

    I first met Stanley whilst the Kinns lived in London’s East end at around 11 years of age. This was my first exposure to Lubavitch and I was really taken in with this “larger than life” chossid.
    May HaShem bring comfort to all his family.
