New Video Series Brings Jewish History to Life
A New series by Rabbi Chananya Hoffinger will take you on a Journey through Jewish History the way it’s taught in the Torah and in Yiddishe sources. Many of us don’t really have a clear picture of the events recorded in the Torah and Neviim, we have bits and pieces, but not the complete bigger picture. These videos will give you that bigger picture and also the details.
The classes will go from the creation of Adam to Noach and the Mabul. You will learn about the life of Avraham Avinu, see where he was born, where he moved, and what he did in each place. You will learn about the 15 Shoftim, the 42 kings, and the different kingdoms that each tried to destroy the Jewish people.
Classes are posted a few times a week.

Some of the shiurim will include:
– Was Shem, Yaacov Avinu’s 9 times great grandfather, really alive when Yaacov learnt in his Yeshiva?
– Who were the 15 Shoftim who led the Yidden during the time of Mishkan Shilo?
– How many kings ruled over the Yidden during the times of Bayis Rishon?
