Registration Begins For The Kinus Hashluchim Haolami 5783

Registration for the Kinus Hashluchim 5783 has officially opened, and details for this years Kinus are starting to trickle in.

The Kinus Vaad, which works diligently to ensure the success of the annual Kinus, has announced thatafter receiving feedback from previous years, this years workshops and events will take place “locally” in various locations throughout Crown Heights,

In the spirit of Hakhel and Sheves Achim Gam Yachad, the General Sessions on Thursday and Motzei Shabbos will take place in the Major Owens Community Center (formerly Bedford-Union Armory), an easy walk from 770. Shuttle buses will also be available.

Workshops available to the Shluchim will include Power Fundraising, a workshop that will help to develop an annual campaign plan and master the “tactics” for a successful campaign. The workshop will be presented by Mr. Gary Weinstein of Chicago, IL the Senior V-P of Fundraising for the Birthright Israel Foundation.

Another workshop will be Unite The Nation: Hakhel, a program to help create a truly inspiring Hakhel year. But what should we do and how? Learn to use the available full-fledged initiatives, and an opportunity for idea-sharing with other shluchim. The workshop will be presented by Rabbi Yossi Greenberg of Oxford, OH, Rabbi Moshe Raichik of Brooklyn, NY and Rabbi Levi Slonim of Vestal, NY.

The highlight of the Kinus, the Gala Banquet, will take place at the New Jersey Conference and Expo Center in Edison, New Jersey.
