Uplifting Seminar Brings Hope to Ukrainian Refugees in Israel

Hundreds of Jewish refugees from across Ukraine, and in particular from four major cities, opened the New Year at a special Rosh HaShanah seminar aimed at assisting them to integrate into Israeli society.

The long weekend seminar took place in a Jerusalem hotel while the prayer services took place in the famous Heichal Shlomo Synagogue in the city center.

The uplifting event was organized by the Kolel Torah organization in collaboration with the Federation of Jewish Communities (FJC) and Chabad of Rehavia.

In attendance, among others, were the leading rabbis and lecturers Rabbi Moshe Webber of Dnipro, Rabbi Mendel Cohen of Mariupol, Rabbi Alexander Proshanski of Kfar Chabad, Rabbi Israel Goldberg of Chabad Rehavia and Rabbis Daniel Lando and Dovber Baitman.

Jewish refugees from four major communities in Ukraine, including Kyiv, Dnipro, Mariupol, and Kharkiv, attended the seminar along with many others from across the country.
