BDE: Mrs. Rivka Cohen, OBM

With great sadness we report the passing of Mrs. Rivka Cohen OBM, the wife of Rabbi Yechezkel Cohen of Nachalas Har Chabad and sister of Rabbi Yaakov Goldberg and Rebbetzin Bluma Osdoba of Crown Heights. She passed away on Monday, the 1st day of Rosh Hashana.

She is survived by her husband Rabbi Yechezkel Cohen, and children Rabbi Moshe David Cohen (New York), Mrs. Chana Schwartz (Ramat Aviv, Israel), Mrs. Sarah Man (Montreal, Canada), Rabbi Yitzchak Cohen (Tel Aviv, Israel), Mrs. Rachel Kot (Riga, Latvia), Mrs. Devorah Kleitman (Kfar Chabad, Israel), Rabbi Menachem Mendel Cohen (Tel Aviv, Israel), Mrs. Leah Goldmitz (Isarel), Mrs. Bracha Pels (Ashkelon, Israel), and Rabbi Shneor Zalman Cohen (Bnei Brak, Israel).

She is also survived by her siblings Rabbi Yaakov Goldberg (Crown Heights), Mrs. Bluma Osdoba (Crown Heights), Rabbi Yitzchok Goldberg (Migdal Haemek, Israel), Mrs. Bracha Wolf (Chicago, IL) and Mrs. Sara Klyne (Manchester, England).

The Levaya took place in Yerushalayim.

Rabbi Yaakov Goldberg will be sitting shiva at 1396 Carroll St through Tuesday early morning. There will be no minyanim in the house, with visiting hours between 12:00pm and 3:00pm, and 8:00pm and 10:00pm.
