BDE: Rabbi Yosef Rosenfeld, 89, OBM

With great sadness we report the passing of Rabbi Yosef “Yossel” Rosenfeld OBM, the Menahel and Executive Director of Oholei Torah in Crown Heights. He passed away Wednesday night, the 19th of Elul, 5782.

He was 89 years old.

He is survived by his children; Rabbi Menachem Mendel Rosenfeld (Montreal, Canada), Mrs. Rivkah Grossbaum (Stonybrook, Long Island), Rabbi Yitzchok Rosenfeld (Toronto, Canada), Mrs. Shterny Fogelman (Los Angeles, CA), Rabbi Yisroel Rosenfeld (Melbourne, Australia), Rabbi Sholom Rosenfeld (Crown Heights), Mrs. Chana Konikov (Roslyn, Long Island), and Mrs. Nechama Dina Katz (Crown Heights).

He was predeceased by his wife Malka Raizel earlier this year.

The Levaya will take place today, Thursday, Shomrei Hadaas at approximately 1:00pm, passing by Oholei Torah main campus at 2:00pm, 770 at 2:30pm.
