Kollel Anash of Crown Heights Publishes Seventh Volume of Kovetz Iyunim

Kollel Anash of Crown Heights has released a seventh volume of the series Kovetz Iyunim. Up until now, the kovetz was only available in stores. The Kollel has now released an online version for the benefit of all. Previous installments of Kovetz Iyunim quickly became popular and were sought after by Rabbonim, Roshei Yeshiva and those who study Halacha.

The new volume contains six unique sections and numerous essays. The essays mainly focus on topics associated with the halachos of Shabbos, Kashrus and Taharas Mishpacha. Additionally, there are separate sections dedicated to the works of the Chabad Rebbes and early Chabad Chassidim. 

Among the Kovetz highlights are:

*A fascinating collection of principles, sayings and descriptions culled from the Tzemach Tzedek’s works on Nigleh.

*A letter from the Rebbe to Rabbi Yitzchok Hutner, Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshiva Rabbi Chaim Berlin, upon receiving the latter’s works Kuntres Hashabbos and Pachad Yitzchok

*A manuscript of chiddushim on Shulchan Aruch, by R. Eliyahu Yosef Rivlin, author of the famous sefer Oholei Yosef. R. Eliyahu Yosef was a talmid and chossid of the early Chabad Rebbes. The manuscript discusses the halachos of Ribis – taking interest.

*An essay on Taharas Mishpacha by Rabbi Avrohom Osdobo, member of the Crown Heights Beis Din.

*A comprehensive summary of the Rishonim and Achronim’s opinions on the complex aspects of Taharas Mishpacha, compiled by Rabbi Mendel Morozow, member of Kollel Anash.

The kovetz is named Tiferes Shimshon in memory of R’ Shimshon Fischer z”l, father of Rabbi Dovid Fischer, Rov of Congregation Anash and patron of the Kollel. May he and his family be gebentched with an abundance of good בגשמיות וברוחניות.

For the past ten years, Kollel Anash has been dedicated to assisting young married men master the laws of Shabbos and Taharas Mishpachah. The halachos are studied in depth; from the sources in Gemara and Rishonim all the way down to halacha lemaaseh. The Kollel has recently added a unique three-year track for studying the halachos of Choshen Mishpat.
