Hanhala Urges Alumni to Participate in Yeshiva Celebrations
As preparations are underway for Sunday’s event commemorating 125 since the founding of Tomchei Temimim, the central Hanhala has released a letter urging all Yeshiva alumni to participate.
Founded in 5647/1897 by the Rebbe Rashab, in the town of Lubavitch, we reflect with gratitude – How the Rebbe’s vision has grown. From one small Yeshiva to hundreds of institutions worldwide, producing thousands of Bochurim who go on to become the Shluchim, Rabbonim and leaders of the next generation, dedicated to spreading the light of Chassidus throughout the entire world. Behold, the infinite effect of the Yeshiva!
As the Rebbe has said about this auspicious day, “The celebrations of Tes Vov Elul should take place with great enthusiasm, such that it should be the main focus of the day, and so that it could be said: “There was no greater day for the Yidden than Tes Vov Elul!”
The program will feature Guest Speakers, including renowned lecturer Rabbi Shais Taub and Rabbi Mendy Blau, Dean of Oholei Torah. This momentous evening also features music by the prolific musical talents in Jewish music today, Avremi G and Yehuda Piamenta.
Please join us at the grand Farbrengen, as encouraged by the Rebbe “B’rov Am Hadras Melech”, at 770 Eastern Parkway, this Sunday, Tes Vov Elul September 11 at 7:30 PM, where we will mark this day with words of Torah and inspiration.
