An Airplane Menorah Sent By G-d Leads To A Bar Mitzvah In The Airport

by Yossi Rapp – Chabad Air

A friend of mine, on Shlichus at Chabad of Springfield, calls me up and says that he has a present for me, it was a model airplane with a Menorah on top. After receiving it I asked him where he got it from and he told me that he got it from G-d. He explained, one day at a party it randomly showed up and he had no idea how it got there.

So not knowing what I am supposed to do with it in middle of the summer I decided to take it into the airport and perhaps one day find a use for it. As I get into the elevator from the parking lot another man hops on and tells me that he like the airplane I am holding, so I ask him do you know what’s on top and he said it’s a Menorah. I ask him, “how do you know what a Menorah is?” he tells me that he is Jewish and lives in Connecticut.

I invited him for a tour of the Synagogue at the airport and while we were there I asked him if he has ever put on Tefflin and he says that he has never done it in his life. So on the spot we made him a Bar Mitzvah and put on Tefillin for the first time in his life. Thank to the airplane that was given to us from G-d.
