Build the Bais Hamikdash with Sichos in English
These questions are flipped on their heads when examining the time of the Three Weeks and the Nine Days. Although categorized as a more solemn time on the calendar due to the abovementioned destruction that took place in this time period, Chassidus explains that the Nine Days, at its core, is a time symbolic of restoration and rebuilding. So, indeed, Hashem is merciful, kind, and compassionate. Being an opportune time for rebuilding, Hashem deliberately chose this period spanning over Tammuz and Menachem Av for the devastation. For it is this time period, days buzzing with potential energy for growth, which fuels the Yidden to rise above the challenges, rebuild, and reconstruct in the face of destruction.
In the spirit of this opportune time of rebuilding, the Rebbe encouraged Yidden to maximize the energy of this auspicious period by learning about the Beis HaMikdash. Furthermore, when one learns about the Beis HaMikdash, it is considered as if they are taking part in fulfilling the mitzvah of building the Beis HaMikdash brick by brick.
With the three weeks upon us, Sichos in English has made taking part in building the Beis Hamikdash easy with a collection of learner friendly sichos discussing the dynamics and particulars of the two Batei Mikdash and the third and ultimate Beis HaMikdash — may it be built immediately!

The two Batei Mikdash are symbolic of Tzaddikim and Baalei Teshuvah respectively. The Rebbe delves into the contributing factors of both parties of Yidden, which when combined, the fusion creates a virtuous combination: the third Beis HaMikdash. It is specifically this fusion that has the ability to provide solace and comfort for the destruction of the Batei Mikdash.
Three wells: Three Batei HaMikdash
The third Beis HaMikdash contains a dichotomy: it will descend from on High, yet it is drawn down through the avodah of Yidden in galus. This is comparable to the wells dug by Yitzchok. When one toils and digs, natural resources which were once concealed, come forth. When Yidden toil in their avodah, their efforts will bring forth the ultimate Beis HaMikdash.
