Chabad Father Gives Kidney To Another Jew in California

Daniel, a Chabad husband and father living in Tarzana California went to a kidney donation awareness event in 2019, and became the latest person to donate a kidney through the Renewal organization, and saved a life.

At the time, Daniel had been swabbed as another person was desperately looking for a match, but ultimately they found another person better suited to help him.

In today’s kidney donation, Zack was the recipient. A husband and father of three, Zack had a highly successful campaign where hundreds of people came forward to see if they will be “the” match. Surprisingly the best match was Daniel.
