LIVE at 11:00AM: Forget You’re Fasting this 17th Tammuz, Taste Geula with A Worldwide Learn-a-Thon
The 17th of Tammuz is a fast. Nevertheless, the Torah is compared to bread, so while most people can’t eat on this day, they can feast on Torah instead.
How? By attending the Taste Geula global learning session on Zoom, 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM EST, Sunday, July 17. The first hour, the Taste Geula program will feature Hebrew shiurim by Rabbi Yechiel Kalmanson (Brunoy) and Rabbi Yitzhok Wilshanski (Tzfas).
At noon, the program will present English shiurim by such well known Chabad Torah Scholars as Rabbi Berel Bell (Montreal), Rabbi Yosef Braun (Crown Heights), Rabbi Asher Farkash (Buenos Aires), Rabbi Avrohom Gerlitsky (Brooklyn), Rabbi Heschel Greenburg (Buffalo) and Rabbi Levy Jacobson (Toronto). Topics will include the coming Redemption, the Bais Ha’Mikdash HaShlishi, Moshiach, the Land of Israel, and more.
Learn what the Talmud, Midrashim, Rishonim and Acharonim all say about the coming Era of Moshiach. It’s a journey for the soul that will expand your mind, not your waistline!
This program is organized by the Minatzchim; a group of over 150 Shluchim from all over the world who are committed and devoted to succeed in the main Shlichus; “prepare ourselves and the entire world to welcome Moshiach”
May we merit that the fast of 17 of Tamuz will not just be postponed but completely cancelled and indeed we will FEAST in the Bais Hamikdosh and not fast
