New Jersey Mivtzoim Office Ends Year with Event of Celebration and Growth

This Sunday, Chof Sivan, the Directors of the Student Outreach Program at the Rabbinical College of America, Yeshivas Tomchei Tmimim Morristown, Arik Deren and Matti Weingarten, made a brunch for all the Bochurim that go on Mivtzoim on a weekly basis, celebrating the growth of Mivtzoim in this past year.

Menahel Rabbi Chaim Schapiro addressed the crowd, thanking the Mivtzoim directors of this year and wishing them success in wherever they will be in the future. He also related a story of what the Rebbe told a Bochur who’s father passed away, and when it came time to be sent on Shlichus his mother was afraid to be left alone in Crown Heights. The Rebbe told the Bochur that he should stay because he is on the Rebbe’s Shlichus when he goes on Mivtzoim every Friday.

Arik Deren thanked all the Bochurim for taking part in Mivtzoim and Matti Weingarten thanked all those who helped with the transportation, all the drivers who did a great job the entire year.

The Mivtzoim directors also expressed appreciation to their colleague Levi Spalter who was involved in many aspects of Mivtzoim, primarily the Yud Alef Nissan Tank parade made in New Jersey a few months back.
