Rabbi Yaacov Sebbag, Principal of ULY Ocean Parkway, Takes Up Position At Pittsburgh Yeshiva

After five years as principal of ULY Ocean Parkway, Rabbi Yaacov Sebbag will be moving on.
“Five years ago, we set out to build a different kind of school within our community,” Sebbag wrote in a letter sent parents. “I am writing to you today because, as you may know, I have received and accepted an offer to join the leadership team of Yeshiva Schools of Pittsburgh.”
Sebbag, a well loved educator, came to ULY Ocean Parkway after being a teacher at Darchai Menachem for many years. Now as he leaves his post as ULY Principal, he notes that although he is “excited for the opportunities this development brings for myself and for my family”, he is also sad to be leaving Tomchei Temimim Ocean Parkway.
“Being charged by you to work with you and your children has been a great honor that I do not take for granted,” he wrote. “I will forever cherish these years and interactions as I hope you will too.”
