Chabad Center in Carriage Hills Brings New Couple To Expand Its Programs

Rabbi Dovi and Pessi Levy are heading to the Carriage Hills Jewish community to expand the reach of the local Congregation Judea Chabad Center.

Located at the edge of Hollywood, CJ Chabad is a warm and vibrant Jewish community center and shul in South Florida.

In 1981, Temple Judea was founded by 200 families, in and around the Carriage Hills community, as a Conservative temple.

In 2009, Temple Judea became Congregation Judea – an Orthodox synagogue under the leadership of Rabbi YY Bronstein.

In 2015, Congregation Judea became a Chabad institution and has been Congregation Judea Chabad ever since.

Now it is 2022, and CJ Chabad is ready to expand its horizons. New energy is needed to increase activities geared specifically for young professionals and families with children who have relocated to this beautiful area.

The couple will be working with Rabbi Bronstein, as well as reaching out to more families in the nearby areas under the direction of Rabbi Zalman Korf.
