BDE: Rabbi Sholom Ber Gorodetsky, 83, OBM

With great sadness we report the passing of Rabbi Sholom Ber Gorodetsky OBM, the president of the board of directors of Tomchai Tamimim Lubavitch and served as the director general of the European and North African Bureau of Chabad-Lubavitch. He passed away on Thursday, the 25th of Iyar, 5782.

He was 83 years old.

He is survived by his wife Mrs. Leah Gittel Gorodetsky, and their children Hensche Leah (Miami, Florida), Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok Gorodetsky (Paris, France), Raizel Baila Felig (Miami, Florida), Rabbi Mendy Gorodetsky (Crown Heights), and Rabbi Shmuel Gorodetsky (Five Towns, NY), and many grandchildren.

The Levaya will be taking place today, passing by 770 at approximately 12:15pm.
