While Filming, Avraham Fried Finds a Karkafta, and Immediately Gives Him A “Bar Mitzvah”

While creating a music video at Grand Army Plaza and 770 Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn, Jewish Superstar singer Avraham Fried tracked down a Jewish man who had never before put on Tefillin, and immediately wrapped him up.
Fried had been on the hunt for a person to put tefillin on for a period during the filming, and approached a likely Jew only to get a negative response. Just a few moments later, the man returned, asking why Avraham Fried wanted to know.
It was quickly discovered that the man was visiting from Budapest, Hungary, and that his mother was a Jew. Not missing a beat, Fried whipped out his tefillin and gave him a “Bar Mitzvah”.
After putting on Tefillin, the Jewish man was taken on a tour of 770, getting a chance to visit the WLCC Broadcast office.
