Veteran Bais Rivkah Principal Announces Plan Take Position As Dean Emeritus, Mrs. Miriam Heber To Become Principal

After fifty five years in Bais Rivkah, School Principal Mrs. Shana Teichtel has announced her plans to take up a new leadership role as Dean Emeritus at the end of the school year.

The news was announced in a letter addressed to her fellow staff members in the school, where she writes that Mrs. Miriam Heber, an experienced educator, would be filling her shoes.

“I will IYH continue in my role as principal of the school until the school year starting Tishrei Tof shin pei daled (September 2023). At that point, Mrs. Miriam Heber will assume the principal position as I continue to retain a role in the leadership of the school, as Dean Emeritus.”

To ensure a smooth transition, Mrs. Heber will be working alongside Mrs. Teichtel, and the current grade principals, as a school wide Vice Principal beginning in July of this year.

Signed “your friend and colleague”, Mrs. Teichtels letter ends on the positive note that “I am looking forward to partnering with her and the entire staff to ensure that our students receive the best possible chinuch as befitting of our sacred Mosed.”
