BDE: Mrs. Genia Marosow, 59, OBM

With great sadness, we report the passing of Mrs. Genia Marosow OBM, a Crown Heights resident and famed Sheitel Macher. She passed away on Wednesday the 29th of Adar 1, 5782 following an extended illness.

She was 59 years old.

She is survived by her husband Rabbi Mendel Marosow, and their children Chony and Chana Marosow.

She is also survived by her mother Mrs. Tamar Hilel, and siblings Mendel Hilel (Montreal, Canada), Rochi Leverton-Rotenstreich (Crown Heights), Saadi Hilel (Hollywood, FL), and Sarit Vogel (London, UK).

The family requests that her mother, Mrs. Hilel, not be notified.

The levaya will be held on Thursday, at Shomrei Hadas Chapels at approximately 11:00am and passing 770 at approximately 12:00pm.

The family will be sitting shiva at 762 Empire Blvd (corner of Troy Ave) #5F.
