Brunoy Holds Public Menorah Lighting On Yeshiva Grounds

In Brunoy, as every year, a public Menorah lighting was held in the yeshiva courtyard, with the participation of the mayor of Brunoy, representatives of the government, and the regional Jewish community.

The ceremony was led by Rabbi Shmuel Brodovich, the director of Shiur Aleph Mesivta, who praised the warm connection between the Jewish community and the various government officials. The Mayor of Brunoy spoke and mentioned the sense of commitment of the municipality and other government ministries for the benefit of the community.

“The Yeshiva was established 74 years ago, and is itself like the Menorah” the Mayor said excitedly, “it brightens everywhere, and every year shines brighter than the previous year.”

Director of the Yeshiva Rabbi Mendel Gurevich gave gifts to the guests, and the students enjoyed a special surprise in honor of Chanukah.
