BDE: 9-Year-Old Lubavitcher Boy Struck and Killed in Chicago

Tragedy struck the Lubavitch community of Chicago Wednesday night, when a 9-year-old boy was struck and killed while riding his bike.

The tragic events unfolded around 8:00pm on N. Sacramento Ave and W. Chase Ave, and Chicago Hatzalah rushed the boy to the hospital. Sadly he was pronounced dead soon after.

According to reports, the child’s name is Shmuel Hershel Weinberger obm, son of R’ Shamai and Mrs. Sara Leah of West Rogers Park, Chicago.
