BDE: Rabbi Shalom Elmaleh, 74, OBM

With great sadness we report the passing of Rabbi Shalom Elmaleh OBM, a shliach in Milan, Italy. He passed away on Monday, the 27th of Sivan, 5781.

He was 74 years old.

Shalom was devoted to his congregation of Naar Israel in Milan, Italy, and travelled the world as a Supervisor of Kosher food.

He is survived by his wife Simcha, and their children, Dina Brawer (Boston, MA), Michael Elmaleh (Italy), Gad Elmaleh (Italy), Chava Kleinman (Haifa, Israel), Aryeh Elmaleh (Italy), Devorah Matuf (Lod, Israel) and Esther Elmaleh (Italy).

The Levaya will take place in Israel.
