Virtual Camp Returns After Incredible First Year

After an amazing first year that garnered incredible feedback and proved that camp could be done successfully online, MyShliach Virtual Camp is returning for another summer of activity and adventure.

“Last year, because of COVID, we jumped into virtual camp with little pre-planning. The feedback we got was incredible, and we saw first-hand how it benefitted the children of shluchim across the country,” said Rabbi Mendy Shanowitz, Director of MyShliach. “Even though many camps are open this year, we are continuing virtual camp this summer as it provides a unique opportunity for children of shluchim, wherever they are, to make friends, have fun and participate in creative, interactive and hands-on activities infused with Yiddishkeit and Chassidishket.”

Aimed at campers in grades 1 to 5, MyShliach Virtual Camp will be directed, once again, by Rabbi Shaya Itkin. Itkin has set a high bar for children’s online programming through MyShliach’s virtual offerings, and that standard will continue this summer.

“Not every child is able to go to sleepaway camp, but every child deserves to have a summer of fun,” said Itkin, adding “MyShaliach Virtual Camp will be filled with creative experiences and stimulating activities, making this a fun-filled summer that campers won’t forget.”

MyShliach’s Virtual Camp will run from June 28 to August 6 at two different times to cater to various time zones. To learn more or to sign up, please visit www.myshliach.com/mvc or email camp@myshliach.com.
