Hawaii Kosher Farm Opens Boys Summer Program

A once in a lifetime adventure for the boy who loves the outdoors and thrives in a smaller, more personal environment.

MKF Summer Program is for boys ages 13-15 looking for a unique 3 week immersive summer experience on a Chassidishe farm in the West Maui Mountains.

Campers will sleep in tents and go for daily morning hikes to dip in a natural Mikvah of fresh mountain streams. Daily davening in the jungle, morning and evening farm chores and learning Chassidus out in nature like Chassidim of old.

The learning curriculum will involve Agricultural Halachos and hands-on experience of Shechita & Kashrus. Depending on the boys’ interests they have options to learn about building, plumbing, digging trenches, working under the hood, cooking, sprouting/planting/harvesting and animal husbandry.

Aside from the farm activities, campers will enjoy tropical jungle hikes, sports, secluded beaches for swimming and body boarding, snorkeling with sea turtles and incredible coral reefs. They will hike Haleakala, a 10,000 foot (dormant) volcano and swim in waterfalls.
