Behind Enemy Lines: Matzah Sent to Jewish Families in Arab Speaking Countries

Boxes of Matzahs have been sent to eight families in Arab-speaking countries behind enemy lines who are secretly living as Jews.

Rabbi Yossi Eliav, Director of Special projects at Yad L’Achim sent the Matzahs from the United States as there is no way to ship to these hostile countries directly from Israel.

This is a part of a larger project where Yad Lachim has trained individuals who are fluent in Arabic and who maintain a close relationship with these Arab-speaking Jews who are still living in various hostile countries.

The goal of these relationships is to give them the ability to connect to their Jewish routes as much as possible, with the hope that soon enough they will be reunited with our people.
