Purim Gift Bags For Seniors in South Florida

For the 41st consecutive year, Purim gift bags are being arranged for thousand of seniors, etc, in over 20 nursing homes, retirement homes and hospitals in South Broward, Florida.

The campaign is being organized by Rabbi Yossi Lebovics, principal of the Chaya Aydel Seminary.

The Chaya Aydel Seminary students will be delivering these Purim gift bags, in a socially distancing manner, with a smile, dressed in Purim costumes, to the delight of over 2,000 lonely seniors, who are extremely isolated this past year, more than any time in their lives.

The Rebbe always demanded that the joy of Purim must always be brought to the frail and less fortunate – this year – our Purim Campaign will be more meaningful and joyous, than in our first 40 first years combined, of carrying out this humanitarian and priceless Mitzvah.

In addition, we are helping 82 needy families in Broward County, struggling during the Pandemic, with financial assistance, so that they can celebrate Purim with joy, dignity and pride.

The cost of our Purim Campaign is $22,500!!!

This does not include our ongoing Covid Relief Critical Care efforts, as a Tier 1 agency, in helping those in the community, who find themselves in an emergency situation, struggling with housing, food, medicine and other basic needs.
