How To Use A Summer Vacation With The Shluchim in Buenos Aires

We are Shluchim in Buenos Aires, Argentina, now it is our Summer vacation.

Every year, 30 students utilize their summer vacation for a full learning experience in Jerusalem. It’s a 4 week program with learning, farbrengen, trips and full of inspiration.

This year, with airports closed and the quarantine in Israel, we were faced with a challenge: What are we going to do?

So something amazing came up. The Shluchim created a program with the same experience at there home in Argentina. With a rented hotel in Cordoba City, a full 10 hour ride from Buenos Aires, they ran a beautiful program.

Torah classes, Trips, farbrengens, activities; a real life transformation! All the girls took upon themselves new resolutions to add more Judaism in their daily lives.

“The personal conversations that I feel helped me a lot to see different things in my life, with the girls and the madrichot,” said Noa Stofenmacher.

According to Laila Costa Manticof, “Many things happened within me in these 10 days , a lot of thought, a lot of connection that I am taking with me for the future.”

“Every nigun that we sang felt my neshamah jumping and rising and it was something that had never happened to me,” said Camila Eblagon.

The program was done in conjunction with El Lazo – Juventud judía run by Shliach Shlomo Levy (founded26 years ago) and Majon Or Jaia (founded15 years ago), and run by Shlucha Chani Gorowitz.

Both Chabad Houses are part of Chabad on Campus International and Chabad Young Professional International

This was made possible thanks to the Sinai Scholars program, an amazing learning experience for college students in 180 campuses around the world.
