Chabad Chayil in Miami, run by Rabbi Moishe and Laylah Kievman, has received permits from the city to go ahead with the construction of a $10 Million building, according to the Sun Sentinel.

The new five-story building will host a multitude of programs including CHAP, cKids, cTeen, GROW, a Hebrew School, and the Dovid Bryn Library.

Plans for the building include fourteen Regular Classrooms, two Specialty Classrooms, an Adult and Children’s Library, Indoor Playground, Jungle Gym, Social Hall, and a Rooftop Park.

With over 36,000 square feet of indoor space and 10,000 square feet of rooftop park and terraces, it is being touted as a gem for the community, allowing the chabad to expand its current programming and services to include a preschool other extracurricular activities.

“The entire community has been waiting for this for such a long time,” Rabbi Moishe Kievman, co-director of the Chabad center told the Sun Sentinel. “We are all thrilled that it’s now becoming a reality. We hope to welcome everyone to the new building in around 13 months.”

As chabad prepares to break ground, dedications for the multi-million dollar project are still available.
