Chabad on Campus welcomed Rabbi Shneur and Esther Wolfman on Wednesday as the newest Shluchim that will be joining the team in the Grand Canyon getaway town, to direct Chabad at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona and start a Jewish preschool.

“We are delighted to welcome Rabbi Shneur & Esther Wolfman to the Chabad on Campus family!” Chabad on Campus posted on their social media.

Chabad of Flagstaff serves local Jewish families, students at NAU, as well as the multitudes of Jewish tourists visiting the Grand Canyon. Chabad’s motto is “Joy Community Growth.” In 2019, Chabad grew exponentially with the opening of the Molly Blank Jewish Community Center, a 2.2-acre campus with a stunning new building.

The hiring of Rabbi Shneur and Esther will tremendously accelerate this growth spiral with the expansion of Chabad at NAU and the establishment of a Flagstaff Jewish Preschool. They will also direct Chabad’s Camp Canyon, a Jewish outdoor adventure camp, and Hebrew School of the Arts.

The Wolfman’s will be working at Chabad at Northern Arizona University under the leadership of Rabbi Dovi and Chaya Shapiro, who have been Shluchim in Flagstaff since March of 2006.

The couple has launched a campaign to raise funds for their new Shlichus. To donate: Click Here
