JCM’s New Virtual Workshop Begins Today

by CrownHeights.info

Another resource for children is now available to help keep your children occupied while at home as the Jewish Children’s Museum’s virtual workshop kicks off today.

For many families in Crown Heights, there wasn’t a week that went by without a visit to the Jewish children’s museum, where children enjoy the many interactive exhibits, play mini golf and take part in the creative programs.

In the last few months, all that has changed and so many parents are struggling to find ways to keep their children stimulated and entertained.

Enter the new virtual JCM Workshops, the Instagram based workshop where your children can learn, be creative, and have fun from the comfort of your own home.

The virtual workshops will be held each Sunday on Instagram TV. Each week will feature an educational topic that will be explored through various crafts or science experiments.

There will be 2 workshop tracks each week: The junior virtual workshop, for children ages 6 – 9, will be from 1:30 – 2:00. The virtual workshop for children ages 9 – 12 will be from 3:30 – 4:00.
Check out www.jcm.museum/virtualworkshops for supplies needed, or pick up your supplies kit at the museum ($2/kit). Dates and times for pickup are subject to change – check out our social media platforms or website for weekly updates.

Get your supplies ready, tell your friends, and meet us on Instagram @jewishchildrensmuseum today, Sunday May 24th.
