770 Shul To Close Temporarily Over Coronavirus

by CrownHeights.info

The heart of the Chabad Lubavitch movement, 770 Eastern Parkway has plans to close its main downstairs shul temporarily as the community faces the Coronavirus pandemic.

The closing comes after schools and many other shuls announced cancellation of services, and all schooling moved to an online format.

The virus, which recently arrived in the community, spread quickly, with medical professionals believing that nearly every member of the community was exposed.

Hatzalah has published guidelines along with Dr. Eli Rosen and the Gedaliah Society to help slow the spread of the virus, and guide the community through the crisis.

Update: Upstairs 770 to close as well.
