CrownHeights.info has learned that the gala banquet for the upcoming Kinus HaShluchim 5768 will be held in Manhattan at Pier 94 located in midtown.
In the past few week a delegation of the Vaad HaKinus led by R. Moshe Kotlarsky held meetings with the management of 'Pier 94' to discuss the layout and possibilities for this upcoming Kinus.
Last year over 3,500 Shluchim and Mekurovim attended the Kinus held in the Garden State Exhibit Hall in Somerset New Jersey had the hall packed to the brim, with the Kinus moving to the city the Vaad HaKinus believes that the massive 175,000 square feet will be able to accommodate close to 5000 people!
