‘Kosher Noodle House’ in Crown Heights to Close Its Doors

by CrownHeights.info

A Crown Heights restaurant that has provided authentic Asian cuisine is closing its doors on Sunday after being in business for less than two years.

Phomen Noodles, a kosher restaurant that opened on Troy Ave near Montgomery St. in mid-2018, was billed as “the first authentic kosher noodle house” and hoped customers would warm to the Vietnamese-style dishes and ramen noodles that the restaurant made its focus.

But there apparently weren’t enough takers, and Phomen will open its doors for the last time this Sunday before closing them for good.

This isn’t the first food establishment located at 411 Troy Ave to close. The location was previously the site of a pizza store a number of years ago. What is in store for this Crown Heights retail space in the future is currently unknown.
