Chof Daled Teves Marked in Montreal

The annual Chof Daled Teves Farbrengen in Montreal marked the Alter Rebbe’s yartzeit and honored the memory of famed Mashpia R’ Volf Greenglas’s 9th yartzait .

Over 400 members of The Lubavitch community in Montreal, Canada, participated in a Chof Daled Teves Farbrengen held at Shomrim Laboker Shul marking the yartzeit of the Alter Rebbe, founder of Chabad and author of the Tanya.

The evening was organized by Lubavitch Youth Organization (Tzach), Neshei Chabad, Congregation Lubavitch, Congregation Shomrim Laboker and Beth Menachem Zev – Ezras Achim.

The emcee was Rabbi Dovid Cohen, organizer of the event and son in law of Rabbi Volf Greenglass OBM, the revered Mekubal, Shliach and Mashpia of Montreal. The farbrengen was dedicated in his memory to honor his 9th Yartzeit on the 22nd of Teves.

Following a video of the Rebbe, speakers of the evening included Dayan Rabbi Berel Bell, Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Leibel Kaplan, and guest speaker was Rabbi Shais Taub of the Five Towns.
