Children Join Chabad of Orange County For Chanukah Program
Chanukah is a festive holiday, and youth of all ages enjoyed creative Chanukah programming at Chabad of Orange County, led by Rabbi Pesach and Chana Burston.
Babies and toddlers experienced the festivities with a “Musical Mommy & Me Tot Chanukah Party,” led by Chana Burston, which included a special “Build-A-Stuffed-Dreidel” project, baking Chanukah cookies, and an animated holiday puppet show.
Children of all ages were invited to make adorable edible Menorah projects, as well as gorgeous light up Menorahs. Giant “human dreidel” games, a chocolate “gelt” launching tournament and candle-making added to the holiday spirit. Rabbi Pesach taught children how to make traditional donuts, and all enjoyed frying, decorating and tasting them!
Chabad distributed special Chanukah Tote bags, filled with Chanukah fun sheets, art projects, dreidels and Menorahs so that children who were vacationing could bring the Chanukah spirit with them.
