Community Celebrates Rabbi Moshe Feller’s 70th Birthday
West S. Paul, MN — Friends of Lubavitch of Minnesota from around the world recently celebrated the70th birthday of Rabbi Moshe Feller, Shliach of the Rebbe to the Upper Midwest. Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty issued a proclamation proclaiming the birthday as “Rabbi Moshe Feller Day” in recognition of the great work that he does. In an effort spearheaded by Mrs. Y. Introlegator people donated to Upper Midwest Merkos Chabad Lubavitch in multiples of seventy.
Longtime friend and supporter, Senator Rudy Boschwitz and Minnesota Shluchim led by Rabbi Asher Zeilingold, Rav of Adath Israel Synagogue, arranged a major celebration in honor of the occasion. In the Living Torah of that week the Rebbe spoke of the significance of one reaching seventy years and how one’s strength is renewed. The hundreds in attendance enjoyed an Hors d’ouvres reception, followed by seeing the Living Torah and hearing words of Torah and Bracha. Senator Boschwitz spoke of his warm relationship with Rabbi Feller and the Rebbe. Local Shluchim, Rabonim and askonim also spoke.
