Lag BaOmer Parade in Manchester England

Manchester, England — The Lubavitcher Yeshiva in Manchester organized a giant Lag BaOmer parade and several exciting events for residents in Manchester. Preparations for the event began two weeks before Lag B’omer when the yeshiva contacted all the Jewish day schools in the city and invited their children to participate in the activities.

The rally on Lag B’omer in which 400 children accompanied by their parents attended took place at Beis Menachem and was led by Meir Shlomo Kaplan.

The children watched a special video filmed by JEM and then watch a televized broadcast by former Israeli Chief Rabbi Yisrael Meir Lau from Tel Aviv.

Later, the children marched in the parade in an orderly fashion. Organizers of the parade say the fact that it didn’t rain during the march is amazing.
