Lag BaOmer in Sydney, Australia

Sydney, Australia — Starting the night of Lag BaOmer there was a big bonfire, complete with live music, BBQ, dancing and L’Chaim, and a Jumping castle for the Kids. During the day they had a childrens rally at the world famous Bondi Beach park, march of children complete with 5 floats on Trucks, down the busy Hall street, till the beautiful park near Mizrachi Shull where there was a childrens rally, complete with magic show, big raffle, and a full carnival with rides for the kids.

The events were organized by Rabbi Elimelech Levy director of Tzach, Sydney and the Yeshiva Centre Chabad Lubavitch of Sydney, Australia.

    Part of the whole idea of chabad is involving the wide ranging community. It’s a beautiful thing that we, chabad accept and invite other groups such as bnei akiva for who they are and respect if not necessarily agree with what they stand for..lets not judge eh? im sure you have flaws too perhaps not tznius but still, existent ones if not that.

    nice parade bh! i think we should have worked on reaching the 10.000 people mark like in crown heights! then it would have been better!

    it’s not the amount of people there that matters, it’s the effect you have. crown heights had a goal because they needed to prove themselves to the police in order to get a permit.
