Chof Cheshvan Farbrengen Published

For the first time, a Farbrengen from 20 Cheshvan has been published in full color with subtitles in three languages. JEM, in conjunction with the Vaad Talmidei Hatmimim Haolami will be screening the Farbrengen in the lead up to 20 Cheshvan this year in Shuls, Yeshivos, community centers and Chabad Houses all over the world. The film can also be ordered at jemstore.com.

The 20th of Cheshvan marks the birthday of the fifth Rebbe of Chabad, the Rebbe Rashab. He was born in the year 5621 (1860).

In the 38 years of his Nesius, the Rebbe Rashab wrote and delivered some 2,000 Maamarim, and in 1897, he established Tomchei Temimim. It was the students of this Yeshiva, the “Temimim”, who literally gave their lives fighting for Yiddishkeit in the Soviet Union.

“Kol Hayotzeh Limilchemes Beis Dovid, Those who go out to wage the war of the House of David”: That was the title of the Rebbe Rashab’s famous Sicha outlining the mission of his Yeshiva. During this Farbrengen in 5745, the Rebbe revisits its contents and explains how they are as relevant as ever.

Baruch Hashem, today there are branches of the Rebbe Rashab’s Yeshivah in every corner of the world. This year, in honor of his birthday, they’ll all be joining together in a Farbrengen with the Rebbe. Make sure you’re there as well!

Thanks goes to the entire JEM staff and the Vaad Talmidei Hatmimim for making this possible.
