Friendship Circle’s International Conference

With recent Jewish Federation studies indicating a void in Jewish community services for children with special needs and programming for teens, there’s never been a better time to bring the Friendship Circle to your community. After all, the Friendship Circle effectively fills both gaps.

Armed with this important development, Friendship Circle International is proud to invite current and potential Friendship Circle directors to its third Annual Conference, to be held Wednesday and Thursday, June 20-21, 2007 (4th-5th of Tammuz, 5767). To be held in Newark NJ.

The conference will teach prospective Friendship Circle directors how to start a Circle in their city. Don’t miss your chance to get a full run-down on starting your Friendship Circle—or getting tips and ideas from veteran Friendship Circle shluchim. A simultaneous, smaller track for directors of existing Friendship Circles will also be held at the Conference—so get in on all the action!

The Friendship Circle was established in 1994 by Lubavitch Foundation of Michigan and to date, there are 62 worldwide. The Friendship Circle has a unique approach to helping families of children with special needs. Its innovative programming and activities fosters a relationship between community teenagers and the children by drawing on the love, energy and dynamics of our teenage population.
