Photos: Rabbi Osdoba Inspects Winery

Rabbi Avrohom Osdoba, senior Rov of the Crown Heights Beis Din, was seen on Thursday inspecting the 15-ton wine press used for making the Kesser and Farbrengen brands of wine and grape juice.

The Rov visits the winery where they press the grapes annually during the harvest season, which usually takes place later in the fall.

Since the weather bureaus forecasted frost over the weekend, some vineyards in upstate New York had to pick their grapes immediately to avoid losing them to frost.
