You want a good yeshiva? Go north, my friend!
Options:
Old country feel of Montreal or the 21-century city of Toronto.
The yeshivos are in the midst of communities of both old-school Lubavitchers and wide mix of veltish / Poilish / Litvish yidden (which puts us on our best behavior).
The Canadian dollar gives you more bang for the U.S. buck!
Travel to N.Y. is cheap and easy (2X weekly Jewish bus or plane).
A caring hanhala.
A good ruach.
Growth.
So go North!!
The mizbaich was in the North!!!
No
Best Mesivta of Lubavitch definitely is : Chicago.
No one matches that

Chicago is certainly a great mesivta. No question about it.
But AFTER mesifta of Chicago, where do you go? Chicago has no zal.
Go North! (Actually, from mesifta of Chicago, it’s North-East).
