A Farbrengen With the Rebbe
It has become a tradition in Lubavitcher Yeshivos world-wide, that on special days, the Yeshivah gathers to watch a ‘Farbrengen’. This means an hour-and-a-half length video, a portion of one of the Rebbe’s Farbrengens on that day. The Sichos are studied, discussed and Farbrenged about, thereby giving bochurim the opportunity to learn from the Rebbe himself.
In connection with the upcoming Yom-Tov of Purim, ‘Vaad Talmidei Hatmimim’ has released a special DVD.
The DVD contains the first three Sichos of the Rebbe’s Farbrengen on Purim of Tof-shin-lamed-beis – 1972. The Rebbe discusses several key points in the Megillah and derives beautiful and relevant lessons to be learned from them. The DVD includes sub-titles in three languages.
With the DVD comes an impressive booklet, containing the Sichos in Hebrew English and Yiddish. The purpose is for Bochurim to prepare the material by learning the Sichos prior to viewing the Farbrengen.
The video is being published by Vaad Talmidei Hatmimim Haolami and will be viewed in Yeshivos worldwide on or around Purim.
