Chof Beis Shvat In Manchester England

On Sunday night over 90 ladies gathered in Beis Menachem to commemorate the 19th yahrzeit of Rebbetzen Chaya Mushka, organised by N’shei Chabad.

On entering, we were greeted with a beautifully laid out hall in black and burgundy. Once we were all seated , the evening began with a welcome by Mrs Susan Jaffe, followed by the first ever performance by the Nshei Chabad ladies choir. Their rendition of chassidshe nigunim was so good they had to do an encore at the end of the evening.

Atfer the music there was food for the body from the delicious milky dessert tables and then on to our guest speaker – Mrs Sara Osdoba, Shlucha in Hull. Her title was “Our relationship with the Rebbetzen”. They say words that come from the heart enter the heart – at her own admission, she had never personally met the Rebbetzen, but we all felt her personal hiskashrus with the Rebbetzen, and her beautiful words entered our hearts also. The evening ended with everyone joining in the dancing after the choirs encore.

A pan kloli was signed by everyone there and faxed to the Ohel.
