And the JNet Winners Are..

Over the past 10 days, hundreds of people from across the globe learned a specially prepared lesson in honor of Chai Elul – commemorating the birthdays of the Baal Shem Tov and Rabbi Schneur Zalman of Liadi.

Participants were asked to study a sicha (talk) of the Rebbe in English, Spanish, or Hebrew and answer three questions related to the material for a chance to win prizes. Two winners were chosen.

Congratulations to:

First prize – $300.00 to SeforimDeals.comShalom Lipszyc, Brooklyn, NY.

Second prize – $100 to Kehos: Yosef Kapular, Brooklyn, NY.

The winner of the Spanish Mivtza: Levi Chocron, Caracas, Venezuela.

Participants were asked to share the most powerful new lesson they took from the Sicha. Here is one selected answer:

“The lesson I took is the tremendous personal obligation to learn chassidus and to teach it to others. It happens that we forget about the difference that learning chassidus makes in our lives, and we don’t learn for a while, it involves getting up earlier, etc. Which feels inconvenient some specially if you have a tight schedule. This sicha is a strong reminder that there’s no way around it, we have to learn chassidus in order to serve Hashem the way we should.” – Yosef, Montreal, Canada

If you would like to have a part in the merit of all the learning by helping to cover the cost of the project, please go to www.jnet.org/donate and mention Chai Elul in the “In honor of” section.
