Hundreds Gather at Reb Levik’s Ohel in Kazakhstan

Honoring the Rebbe’s father, Rabbi Levi Yitzchok Schneerson, OBM, Jews from around the world gathered in Almaty, Kazakhstan to pray at his gravesite on the anniversary of his passing.

Reb Levik, as he was affectionately known, was exiled to Kazakhstan by Soviet authorities due to his activities on behalf of Torah Judaism, where he passed away in 1944.
