Chief Rabbi Greeted by Yeshiva Students in Frankfurt

Rabbi Dovid Lau, the chief Ashkenazic rabbi of Israel, was greeted yesterday, Tuesday, by the student of the Chabad Yeshiva of Frankfurt-am-Main, Germany, where he landed for a stopover of several hours.

The students were accompanied by their Rosh Yeshiva, Rabbi Yosef Havlin, and the Shliach to Frankfurt Rabbi Zalman Gurevitch.

Rabbi Lau encouraged the students to continue with their diligent studies, as well as their activities on behalf of the local Jewish community, whose history dates back many centuries.
