Oholei Torah 7th Graders Sukkah Hop
On the 4th day of Chol Hamoed Sukkos, the 7th grade of Oholei Torah participated in “The Amazing Sukkah Hop,” which was organized by Levi Druin.
The boys were sent to different sukkahs around the community to make a brocha there, have some nosh, and say words of Torah.
Along the way, they had many different missions to do in order to win the hop. This included singing on the streets, shaking a lulav with someone, and collecting Tzedakah – to name a few.
The boys were also treated to a “pit-stop” mid hop at sushi spot, where they enjoyed a platter of sushi.
At the last and final stop, a grand pizza party was waiting for them.
The winning team, which will be treated to an in-school BBQ, will be announced once school resumes.
A special thank you goes to Menachem Aron, Shmulik Berkowitz, Mendel Groner and Eli Wajsbort. Also, a big thank you goes to all the families who allowed their Sukkahs to be used for the hop.
