South Florida Camps Unite for 3 Tammuz

Eight summer camps from across south Florida joined together for the annual ‘camp unity day’ event in honor of Gimmel Tammuz, which was held in the Dezer Car Museum.  Rabbi Shmuly Gutnick of Chabad Youth Network of Florida organized two incredible programs, one for the girls’ and one for the boys’ camps.

The day was jam-packed with amazing activities, giving the children a fun-filled and meaningful day.

To start, there was a guided tour of the world’s largest car museum, which boasts over 1,000 unique cars.  The campers then raced to the arcade room to enjoy the many amazing games.

An inspiring video of the Rebbe and pan writing was next, followed by a rally with lots of chayus; campers reciting the twelve pesukim, and of course singing, cheering and dancing.

One of the Twins from France put on a spectacular show that had the kids spell-bound and shrieking with joy.

To end the day, a grand raffle was held with unbelievable prizes. Each camper left with a beautiful picture of the Rebbe and a dime to give to tzedaka.  They all left happy, united and ready to do their part to bring Moshiach.

The camps that participated were: Camp Gan Israel of Bal Harbor, Hallandale, Highland Lakes, Lake Worth, Miami, Parkland, Sunrise, and West Boynton.
