Video: Cyclists Prepare for Cross-Country Trip
News 12 interviewed Crown Heights residents who will be participating in the Annual Bike 4 Friendship cross-country bicycle trip, which kicks off in San Diego on July 6.
The 3,100-mile trip across the continent will benefit Friendship Circle International, an organization that gives children with special needs the gift of friendship.
The cyclists will average 85 miles a day through wind, heat and high altitude for six weeks, but they say the journey is worth it.
